I used puzzle pieces and covered them with a few layers of UTEE, pierced them with an awl, and bingo–instant embellishement.
The “golden ticket” was the same idea: an old raffle ticket covered with gold wrapping paper, covered with a few layers of UTEE, then I added eyelets.
The best part of this for me was getting to use all my toys: I machine embroidered the banner, did some applique, some BE, used Angelina, needlefelt and my embellisher, used paint and crayons, and water colored pencils and shiva paintsticks… and I still have more ideas!
Are those schallacked puzzle pieces for real? Nifty!
